Orders made for chilled meals by 5pm on Monday should arrive the same week on Thursday or Friday. Any orders made after 5pm on Monday will be dispatched the following week. Chilled meals are dispatched once a week on an overnight delivery service and our insulated packaging will remain cool for up to 48 hours.

Talad’s Eatery Signature dish of Khao Soi curry from Chiangmai, Thailand. This Northern Thai curry has many echoes from Southern China, Indian and Myanmar. Khao Soi is mostly attributed to Jeen Haw, Muslims of Yannanese-Chinese descent who had a web of overland trading routes that linked Yunnan, Northern Thailand and Myanmar. 

There are many varieties to this very dish. Ours is a favourite that is found in Chiangmai’s food markets. The Khao Soi broth is a creamy coconut curry with fragrant dried spice mixture and chicken drumsticks. The essential side condiments give it a great contrast in texture and taste. 

This Khao Soi set for two comes with the following components vacuum packed for freshness and just needing quick reheating on the hob or in the microwave: rice noodles and chicken coconut curry. Top with fresh crunchy bean sprouts, tangy pickled mustard greens, red onion, crispy egg noodles, chilli oil and extra squeeze of lime. This meal is gluten free (don’t add the crispy noodle topping) and Halal.

The curry is thick and creamy. You can loosen it with either coconut milk, milk of your choice or water when reheating to suit your palette. There is instruction on how to reheat the meal in your curry set.

Shelf Life: 3-5 days

Storage: Chilled in fridge. The Khao Soi curry can be frozen for up to 3 months.
