Hainanese Chicken Rice made easy with this Chicken Rice Paste! Just add to rice cooker when cooking rice as usual, or heat up in a pan and stir in uncooked rice before transferring to rice cooker and adding water. If not cooking in rice cooker, heat up in a pan and stir in uncooked rice for about 2-3 minutes on medium heat until fragrant, then add water, bring to boil then reduce heat to simmer and cover to let steam.
This 180g jar will serve approximately 10 portions of rice.
Recommended cooking proportions: 100g paste: 500g uncooked rice: 600ml water
